For partners: you refer the case, we run the repatriation
A family has asked you to send a loved one home to Ukraine, but cross-border transport is not something you do? Refer the case to us. We carry out the repatriation and every related service ourselves, from the first call until the deceased is handed over to the family.

Who we work with
When someone dies abroad, the family turns to whoever is close at hand: a funeral home, the hospital, an insurer. If international transport is not your line of work, you can pass the case to us, and the family will not have to look for anyone else.
Funeral homes
In any country, and in Ukraine. A family asks you to arrange transport across a border and you do not offer it. You hand us the whole case, not a piece of it.
Hospitals and morgues
Relatives ask who can take the deceased to Ukraine. You can give them our number: the first phone consultation is free, and we are available round the clock.
Insurers and assistance companies
Whether the policy covers transport is for the insurer to decide; we will contact the insurer ourselves, find out the terms and see the case through until the deceased is handed over to the family.
What we take on
- We carry out the whole repatriation ourselves. We collect the deceased from the hospital or the morgue, arrange the documents in the country of death and at the Ukrainian consulate, prepare the body and the coffin, cross the border and hand the deceased over to the family. In every country, transport is carried out under its law.
- One coordinator per case. They are on the line from the first call, so neither you nor the family has to explain everything again. A lawyer is also available free of charge, round the clock.
- Languages. We take calls in Ukrainian, English, Polish and German, and you can write to us on Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Delivery to a city on the list is part of the repatriation price (list of cities). The family decides who arranges the farewell and the burial: it can be us, or it can be you.
- Open prices. You can give the family a rough figure straight away: the “from” prices for most countries are on the Prices page. We give the exact amount once we know the country, the city and the documents.
- Urns with ashes travel with us too: see urn transport.
Terms are individual: we agree them with each funeral home before the first case, together with how payments are settled. We do not publish specific amounts or percentages on the website.
How to refer a case, step by step
Get in touch
Call us or write on Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram at +380 77 882 77 77. You can also email info@grg.kyiv.ua or leave your details in the form below.
Describe the case
The country and city where the deceased is now; where exactly: hospital, morgue or home; a body or ashes; and which town in Ukraine they should go to. Add which documents already exist, whether there was an insurance policy and the name of your contact person. Not sure about some of it? That is fine, we will sort it out together.
Receive our confirmation
We confirm that the case has been accepted, name the price for it and list the documents the family has to provide. The typical set is described on the Documents page. Once you agree, we begin.
One coordinator runs the case
They oversee the documents in the country of death and at the consulate, the preparation of the body and the coffin, the journey, the border crossing and delivery to the family. You do not have to look for anyone: we run the whole journey.
Follow the progress
You can ask where the case stands at any time: write or call the coordinator. We will agree on the channel that suits you at the start.
Countries we work with
Here is every country that has its own page on documents and requirements. A funeral home from any of them can refer a case to us, and so can one in Ukraine.

Partner questions
Who actually carries out the transport?
We do. We handle the case ourselves from the first call until the deceased is handed over to the family in Ukraine. You refer us the whole case, not individual stages.
Who is responsible for permits and documents in the country of death?
Which permits and documents are needed is set by the law of the country of death. We lead the whole way for the family: you do not need to look for anyone. Licences and our insurance policy are available on request.
Which languages can we use with you?
We take calls in Ukrainian, English, Polish and German. You can write to +380 77 882 77 77 on Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram.
What do you need from us at the start?
Briefly: the country and city where the deceased is now, and where in Ukraine they should be taken. It also helps to know whether there was an insurance policy. We draw up the list of documents for the country ourselves. From the family we usually need the deceased’s passport, their own passport and a document that shows the family tie (in some countries) and a power of attorney in our name, so that we can file documents on the family’s behalf. We arrange the death certificate from the country of death ourselves. How to sign the power of attorney in your country, we will tell you. More on the Documents page.
How long does the transport take?
Where there is an air leg, it takes from 2.5 hours. The body’s journey home to Ukraine takes from 24 hours after collection. The documents in the country of death usually take the longest. We give the exact timing once we know the country, the city and the state of the documents.
How does the family pay?
Under a contract. For repatriation and transport within Ukraine: either 50 % at the start and 50 % on completion, or 100 % at the start. Organisational services, such as a funeral, require a minimum prepayment of 25 %. More on the Prices page.
On what terms do we work together?
That is individual. We talk it through with each funeral home before the first case, including how payments are settled. Amounts and percentages are not published on the website.
Which directions do you cover?
To Ukraine, from Ukraine abroad and between countries. The countries with their own document pages are in the two lists above. On the direction from Ukraine: From Ukraine abroad. Cannot find your country? Write or call us and we will look at the case.
What if the family has an insurance policy?
Mention it in your first message and send a copy together with the other documents. Whether the policy covers transport is for the insurer to decide, and we help gather everything that is needed.
How do you handle the family’s contact details?
Please pass the family’s contact details to us only with their consent. We use the contact details you pass on to call back, quote a price and handle the case. How we store data is described in our privacy policy.
Can we refer a case at night or at the weekend?
Yes. We are available round the clock, on weekends and holidays too.
