About the XREQUIEM funeral home
XREQUIEM is a funeral home that works across Ukraine. We bring home people who have died abroad, and we arrange funerals. We are part of the GRG group of companies (Global Ritual Group).
Who we are
When someone dies far from home, the family suddenly finds itself facing a foreign language, unfamiliar institutions and a dozen questions with nobody to answer them. Our job is to take those questions off your hands. We have been doing this since 2015. You call once, and from then on we talk to the hospital, the morgue, the local authorities and the consulate ourselves. We prepare the documents and the deceased, arrange the transport and bring the person home.
Our office is at 16/1 Andreia Sheptytskoho St, Drohobych, Ukraine. The group also has an office in Kyiv. We are available 24/7, with no days off, on one number: +380 77 882 77 77. You can write to the same number on Viber, WhatsApp and Telegram. We speak Ukrainian, English, Polish and German.
You will not have to wait for someone to call you back tomorrow. We give you the exact price straight away, by phone or on a messaging app. A funeral in Ukraine is charged separately, and we tell you so in advance.
What we do
- Repatriation of the deceased from abroad, including the documents, preparation, transport and customs formalities.
- Transport of an urn with ashes: a separate, simpler service. The price is from €100, depending on the country.
- Preparing the body for transport and for the farewell.
- Arranging the documents: local and consular ones, and those needed at the Ukrainian border.
- Air transport and road transport: we choose the route to suit the country and the documents.
- Funerals across Ukraine, if the family would like us to see everything through to the end.

Owner of XREQUIEM. Our team answers the phone 24/7. Oleg Zdendiak gets involved in cases personally and goes on site himself when needed: to the morgue, to the border or to the consulate. The family has one number for everything, from the first call to the farewell.

The team

Our rules
- The “from” price is on the site, and we give you the exact price within 5 minutes, before you decide anything.
- We work officially: we sign a contract with the family, and the price is fixed in it before the transport starts.
- In every country, transport is carried out under its law. We lead the whole way for the family. Licences and our insurance policy are available on request.
- We tell you what the price includes and what it does not. A funeral in Ukraine is charged as a separate line.
- We do not promise what does not depend on us. We do not promise direct flights to Ukraine, and we never say “home tomorrow”. The air leg takes from 2.5 hours, and the body's journey home to Ukraine takes from 24 hours after collection. We can be more precise once we see the documents.
- We do not pressure you. You can call, find out the price and take time to think. We will wait.

Where is your office?
The XREQUIEM office is in Drohobych, and the group also has an office in Kyiv. Both addresses and a map are below, under “Address”. But you do not need to visit us: we handle most cases by phone and in messengers, and it is enough to photograph the documents and send the photos to us.
Do you work in my city?
Yes. We work across all of Ukraine: the farewell, the burial, a hearse, transport for the deceased and for relatives, funeral goods. We come to your address, in any town or village, on the date you need. Across Ukraine we do the work ourselves, and one of our coordinators handles your case from start to finish.
What is GRG?
GRG (Global Ritual Group) is a group of companies in the funeral field: funeral homes and our fleet. Its members include GRG, RHS, Eternus and AfterLife. XREQUIEM is part of the group.
Who is responsible for my case?

How much do your services cost?
The price of bringing the deceased home depends on the country. For example: Poland, from €800; Czechia, from €1,000. An urn with ashes costs from €100, depending on the country. All prices are “from” prices and cover the whole journey home. The table is on the prices page.
